Our Process
Initial Phone Consultation
We’ll start our process with a phone consultation to get to know you and hear about your vision and goals. Our team will want to understand the scope of the project and determine if LPS is a good fit for your needs.


Tailored Recommendations
There are several services LPS can help with. Based on the initial phone consultation we have, our experienced team will recommend one of the following paths.
New Construction
- A Survey Agreement will be drawn up.
- We’ll schedule an onsite appointment with an LPS Project Manager and our Professional Engineer to take measurements necessary for creating concept drawings, floor plans, and elevations.
- Once floor plans are approved, we’ll send an accurate project estimate.
Kitchen or Bathroom Remodels
- A Survey Agreement will be drawn up, and we’ll introduce you to our Cabinet Designer.
- The designer will take measurements to create concept drawings, floor plans, and elevations.
- Once floor plans are approved, we’ll send an accurate project estimate. If the estimate is accepted, the cabinet cost will be requested with the initial payment to place the order.
Interior Design Assistance
- We’ll introduce you to one of the Interior Designers we collaborate with.
- A design fee will be included in your estimate.
Other Projects
- We’ll schedule an onsite visit to take measurements and photos needed to create your free estimate.

Contract & Initial Payment
If the estimate is accepted, we will send a contract and request the initial payment. The contract will include a milestone payment schedule.


Material Selection and Preparation
Once the contract is signed and we receive the initial payment, we begin the process of selecting the right materials for durability, longevity, and visual appeal.
Pre-Construction Meeting
We will schedule a pre-construction meeting at your home with your designated Project Manager, sales consultant, and an administrative staff member (and designer, if applicable) to review the scope of work in detail. During this meeting, we will outline expectations regarding readiness, pets, and home access.

Scheduling and Preparation
Once we have an estimated date for materials to arrive onsite:
- Your start date will be scheduled.
- Depending on project needs, we will deliver a dumpster and porta-potty either the day before or the day of demolition.
- Within 1-2 weeks of your start date, your Project Manager will create and share a projected construction schedule through your online portal access.
Construction Phase
- On the start date, the protective materials will be installed to shield the rest of your home from construction dust.
- Once the project begins, your Project Manager will be your primary point of contact for field and scheduling questions. The main office staff is also available for any additional inquiries.
- The construction area will be cleaned each night in preparation for the next day.
- Payments will be requested when the predetermined milestones have been substantially completed. Timely payments are required to keep the project running smoothly. Smaller items will be addressed during the punch list phase at the final walkthrough to ensure your complete satisfaction.


Post-Construction Phase
- For interior projects, the construction area will be professionally cleaned upon completion.
- We may request permission to take professional photos to add to our portfolio.

We offer the following workmanship warranties:
- A 1-year warranty on all interior services, home additions, and decks & patios.
- A 3-year warranty on exterior painting and exterior repair services. - Any product defects will be addressed through the product manufacturer’s warranty.
